PRIVACY STATEMENT
We collect personal information from you when you interact with us via this website, via email, mail, telephone, or in person. The types of information we collect may include information about your:

• academic background and arts achievements

• bank account information (for successful bursars).

We collect your personal information in order to respond to your query, to consider your request for a grant or bursary and to manage your bursary. Any information provided by you will be shared with the Trustees of the Acorn Trust.

 

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to provide your personal information, we may be unable to respond to queries or consider grant/bursary requests.

We  may also request a photo from successful bursars, and will seek permission to use this and relevant personal information in publicity material relating to the activities of the Acorn Trust, both during the term of the scholarship and in subsequent years.

 

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. If you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at privacy@acorntrust.org.nz
