Grants

If you are a South Wairarapa based organisation, charity, school or individual, we welcome the opportunity to discuss your plans to see if we can help.

We are interested in hearing about opportunities to support local literature, drama, music, fine arts, modern arts, and anything else in the wide definition of “arts”. Support can be considered for such things as bringing performances or events to South Wairarapa, promotion of events, supporting access to events/shows, supporting local students to attend events out of town, and increasing access to the arts for local children.

We've previously provided Grants in the following areas;

• Support to local libraries and access to libraries

• Bus trips for local children to attend events outside South Wairarapa

• Sponsorship of arts events including musical and theatrical performances

• Venue support such as providing funds for sound systems 

• Musical instruments for schools

Please contact us with your ideas, expected budget, audience numbers (if applicable), and proposal for how your initiative supports the arts in South Wairarapa. We are only a small charity, but we will help where we can when our budget allows.
